I entered the bathroom door hoping to release some tension through a long undisturbed bath. The water felt pleasant as it run down my skin. But the open shower is not the only source of refreshment, there’s a tiny hole in a forgotten mist that I never dare enter for I know the instant I face that way will be the mark of a provoking scene I dare not watch or remember. There’s a part in me that wants to take a step forward but the other part of me pulls me back to the shadows of a memory long forgotten. And as I dry my hair, I wonder will I ever be able to run from this negligence and ignorance? Maybe not. I stepped out of the shower to put some clothes on, I’ve dried myself but I cannot dry what’s left in my eyes. For they continue to flow even if I wanted them to stop, they never abide by my rules. They have their own mind for I cannot hide the truth they know. The heavy rain and sorrow shall pass, even I want it to happen in an instant I know that is not possible for life doesn’t work that way. For life is a continuous struggle of waiting for time to be in harmony with our fate.
